Our Fluid Division gave a lecture at Chuo University!
On June 8, 2026, Mr. Yoshida from Fluid Division gave a lecture on "Safety, Security, and Rainwater Countermeasures" in the Department of Human Science and Engineering, Faculty of Social Science and Technology, Chuo University, where he explained "hard infrastructure measures."

On that day, we explained the roles of drainage systems and pumps as mechanisms to protect the city from flooding, including examples of our company's installations.
This lecture was conducted as part of the "University Lectures on Water Cycles and Water Infrastructure by Working Professionals Incorporating Cutting-Edge Information from Society and the Field," an initiative organized by the "Chuo University Department of Human Science and Engineering & Water-n Collaborative Lecture Project Team." Fluid Division has been participating in this project since 2019, leveraging its strengths in possessing hardware technologies that protect urban from flooding, and playing a role in conveying the value of work that supports social infrastructure.
This project goes beyond mere classroom learning.

- Creating job opportunities for companies and organizations in the water and sewage industry.
The fact that they are working towards creating this positive cycle has been recognized as a highly significant initiative for the future of the industry, and in 2024 they received the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Award, the "Circular Path Sewerage Award (Public Relations and Education Category)."

I feel that Yoshida-san's lectures are always very easy to understand, which helps to improve students' comprehension.
Furthermore, the students' reactions were completely different from those they experienced in the instructor's lectures.
As one student commented, "I was able to feel the connection between the university and society for the first time," this was a valuable class for third-year university students to experience society. Thank you for giving us this opportunity.
This lecture is now in its ninth year. By having representatives from various companies speak to the students, they gain a real understanding of how the water infrastructure essential to our lives, from faucets to toilets, is supported by the technologies and services of many companies, and how various initiatives for water recycling are also underway.
Beyond simply acquiring knowledge, I hope that by experiencing the "realities" of the water and sewage industry, students will deepen their understanding of the social significance of related companies and jobs, increase their interest, and be inspired to think for themselves about what is needed to connect these industries to the future.
Fluid Division will continue to participate in this project team and contribute to the realization of sustainable water infrastructure through its products and services.
