[Product Introduction] Special Purpose Truck Division’s Removable Body Vehicle
We offer a wide variety of products that support social infrastructure.
We would like to introduce the detachable container system.
What kind of vehicle is a detachable container system?
A detachable container system is a “work vehicle” that uses a device called an arm to attach and detach (load and unload) cargo boxes (containers) in the back of a truck on its own. For example, if waste from a construction site is being stored in a container and the container becomes full, it will replace it with an empty container. The full container will then be transported to a disposal site, where it is tilted and the waste is discharged. These vehicles are sometimes referred to collectively as arm roll vehicles—in fact, “ARM-ROLL” is a registered trademark of ShinMaywa in Japan!
ShinMaywa: A pioneer in detachable container systems
ShinMaywa’s “ARM-ROLL” detachable container system has the No. 1 market share in Japan!
Besides significantly improving transportation efficiency, ShinMaywa has helped address the driver shortage by being the first in the industry to commercialize a model that can be operated with a semi-medium driver’s license obtainable starting at the age of 18.
