Small size/large torque
Low cogging torque design achieves smooth rotation
It has a large torque per weight ratio, and achieves cogging torque and low torque ripple that are one order of magnitude smaller than other motors (including DD motors). It can secure high-speed rotation range that cannot be achieved with inductor type DD motors.
- The torque per mass ratio is doubled, realizing cogging torque that is one order of magnitude smaller.
- Achieves cogging torque of 1% (continuous rated torque ratio)
- Rotation unevenness is highly accurate at 0.1% at 100 rpm (low speeds also possible)
