Notice of temporary suspension of production of products for Boeing

ShinMaywa Industries, Ltd. (Head Office: Takarazuka City, Hyogo Prefecture, President: Tatsuyuki Isogawa) manufactures 777 and 777-X wing fairings and 787 wing spars for Boeing. We deliver each to our main contractors. Due to the recent spread of the new coronavirus infection, Boeing Company (USA) has temporarily suspended production, and our own production line will also be temporarily suspended as follows.
Please note that production sites for aircraft related products, excluding products for Boeing, and other business divisions continue to operate.

Three factories Aircraft Division: Konan Factory (Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture), Takarazuka Branch Factory (Takarazuka City, Hyogo Prefecture), and Harima Branch Factory (Ono City, Hyogo Prefecture).- * Only the production lines for products for Boeing will be suspended.

Approximately 1 month from late April 2020- * The timing and period of suspension will vary depending on the parts and processes being manufactured. The above is a period that includes all of these.
