Today marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the business for ShinMaywa Group.

Our company traces its origins back 100 years to February 1, 1920, when we began designing and manufacturing aircraft in a warehouse located in a corner of Kawanishi Machinery Company, which was founded in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture.

During a period when aircraft were not common, our engineer's passion for “building aircraft with our own hands” coalesced in the production of many famous aircraft.
The spirit and persistence of our engineers have been passed down over the years, and we have continuously provided a wide variety of products and services that have proven indispensable to social infrastructure, all while placing emphasis on listening to the needs of society and our customers.

The area around the symbol commemorating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the business is decorated with motifs representing our main businesses—industrial machinery systems, fluid equipment, parking systems, aircraft, and special purpose trucks. These are accented with each business’s thematic colors as well as brightly colored polka dots symbolizing new businesses and a bright future. The effect is to express how the Group is united as a whole and embarking on a new beginning.

The symbol at the center of the logo that marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the business conveys our gratitude to all those who have supported us. It also expresses our determination to learn from our 100-year history and have the courage to evolve so that we can face the next 100 years as a unified Group, thereby supporting the security of society and prosperity in everyone’s lives. ​
