In recent years, large-scale disasters caused by localized heavy rains and typhoons due to climate change have been occurring frequently, and the total amount of flood damage in 2019, compiled by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, was approximately 2.18 trillion yen.・Municipal governments are accelerating efforts to prevent flood damage, and as a result, demand for large submersible pump that can discharge large amounts of water to prevent flooding is also increasing.

The latest capital investment will strengthen the operation inspection equipment for large (large diameter) submersible pump in order to expand the lineup of products for the rainwater drainage field. We will continue to contribute to society by developing products that help prevent flooding.

With this plan, we will also work to reduce CO ₂ emissions at our production sites (52t-CO₂ /year).
