Prevention of and response to research misconduct
Based on the "Guidelines for Response to Misconduct in Research Activities" (Adopted by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology on August 26, 2014) issued by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, we have established internal regulations and are working to prevent misconduct in research activities using public funds and to respond appropriately to any misconduct that occurs.

Important Notice
- We may ask for your cooperation in an investigation or report to you the results of the investigation, etc. Therefore, please provide us with your name and contact information as much as possible when you make a complaint or ask for consultation
- Personal information such as the names of those who make complaints or ask for consultations will not be used for any purpose other than those mentioned above.
- Regarding anonymous complaints or consultations, we will consider the content, etc. and decide whether to receive them. Please note that we may not be able to report to you the results of the investigation, etc. even if we receive such complaints or consultations.
- When you make a complaint or ask for consultation, please provide us with the name of the researcher or other person alleged to have committed the misconduct, the nature of the misconduct, the reasons why you believe it to be misconduct, etc.
- The complainant will not be subject to any detrimental treatment as a result of making a complaint.
- If it is found that the complaint was made in bad faith as a result of the investigation, we will publish the complainant 's name, file criminal charges or accusations against such complainant, etc.
