Prevention of and response to research misconduct

Based on the "Guidelines for Response to Misconduct in Research Activities" (Adopted by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology on August 26, 2014) issued by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, we have established internal regulations and are working to prevent misconduct in research activities using public funds and to respond appropriately to any misconduct that occurs.

General Manager President and CEO
The General Manger has the authority and responsibility to oversee the entire corporation with regard to matters such as improving research ethics and preventing misconduct, and will take appropriate measures to promote fair research activities.
Research Ethics Education Manager Executive Officer in charge of legal affairs and human resources & development
The Research Ethics Education Manager has the actual authority and responsibility to educate researchers on research ethics, and will regularly provide education on research ethics.

  • If it is found that the complaint was made in bad faith as a result of the investigation, we will publish the complainant 's name, file criminal charges or accusations against such complainant, etc.
