On behalf of ShinMaywa Group, I extend a heartfelt welcome to all of you joining our company.
Our group celebrated its 100th anniversary last February, joining the ranks of companies that have been in business for over 100 years.
ShinMaywa has contributed to the development of society as a group by providing numerous products, equipment, and services that support domestic social infrastructure and contribute to the development of industrial sectors.
I hope everyone will be able to understand and talk about our company's history through company histories and other materials.

Fiscal year 2021, when everyone has joined the company, is also an important year for our group as we make a new start towards a shift to long-term oriented management. From now on, we will firmly envision the future of our society from a long-term perspective and work towards realizing it.
As a prerequisite for this, in April 2020, we announced the "Management philosophy" that indicates the reason for our group's existence and mission, and the "what we want to be" for our group in 2030, which is 10 years from now. A "Long-term vision" was formulated.
We hope that everyone will understand the thoughts and determination that go into these ideals, and work together to "realize our desired future vision.''

People are the embodiment of these activities, and the most important quality for this is "communication ability.'' Above all, improve these two skills: speaking ability and listening ability. Through communication, I want everyone to cherish the heart of caring for others, improve their ability to accurately understand the essence of things, and grow into people who can earn the trust of those around them.

We expect each and every one of us to strive for self-improvement and to take on any challenge proactively and resolutely, with the aim of becoming a true professional.
