Developed a new type of automatic wire processors (both-ends crimping machine) for the consumer goods and automobile markets

ShinMaywa Industries, Ltd. (Head Office: Takarazuka City, Hyogo Prefecture, President and CEO: Isogawa Tatsuyuki) has announced that it will be able to perform high-speed terminal processing such as length measurement, cutting, and terminal crimping of electric wires used in wire harnesses (combined wires). We have developed a new automatic wire processors, the "TRD602" both-ends crimping machine, and will start selling it from April 1st of this year.
In recent years, in emerging markets such as China and Southeast Asia, demand for various home appliances, digital products, automobiles, motorcycles, etc. has increased, and demand for wire harnesses that are built into each product has also increased.
On the other hand, rising labor costs and labor shortages are becoming more serious in these countries, and the market is demanding equipment that can perform processing with stable quality and high yield rates.
In order to meet these market demands, the newly developed "TRD602" both-ends crimping machine has been added with a wide variety of functions compared to our previous machines, improving processing quality and yield per hour. In addition to significantly increasing the performance, the same series can be applied to a variety of applications. One of its features is its high versatility, allowing it to be used in any industry, including consumer harnesses for home appliances and AV equipment, and automotive harnesses including motorcycles.
In terms of processing capacity, it is now possible to process up to 5,000 pieces per hour (10% increase compared to our previous machine).
Additionally, in terms of operability, we have increased efficiency and versatility by adopting an icon-based screen that allows users to operate by feeling, regardless of their level of proficiency.
In addition, quality and yield rates have been improved by installing a high-precision terminal crimping monitor (HTCM), digital crimping machine, seal insertion unit *, and remote monitoring system (RMA-01).
Furthermore, at the exhibition "PRODUCTRONICA CHINA 2021" to be held in Shanghai, China from March 17th to 19th, 2021, we will be exhibiting a concept machine equipped with the soldering and seal insertion functions currently under development for this product. Masu.

Detects 10% or more of core wire breaks and separates even minute defects, with high judgment performance in terminal crimping
- Digital crimping machine
A device that can register the crimp position for each combination of terminals and wires, and automatically reproduce the crimp height by calling up the registered data.
- Seal insertion unit *
A unit that inserts waterproof seals used in connectors that require waterproof performance, such as in engine rooms, into electric wires before crimping.
- Remote monitoring system (RMA-01)
Based on the information stored in the PC of automatic wire processors, "Processing defect report", "Processing defect report by component", and "Processing defect report by setting value" are automatically created.
