Cooperating with Large Truck Level 4 Autonomous Driving Demonstration Experiment
From the end of August 2022 to the end of October 2022, Kobe Steel, Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Kobe Steel") and UD Trucks Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "UD Trucks") carried out construction work within Kobe Steel's Kakogawa Works. We cooperated with Automated Dump functions (equipment and control) in an automated transportation demonstration experiment using the large truck "Quon" equipped with Level 4 automated driving technology.

Additionally, the vehicle used in this demonstration experiment was exhibited at the UD Trucks booth at the Japan Mobility Show 2023, which was held at Tokyo Big Sight from October 26 to November 5, 2023.
