Our company's the fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) "XU-S" was featured in the program "Hyogo Sen! 'Let's talk with Governor Saito!'" produced by Sun TV, a local TV broadcasting station in Hyogo Prefecture, which disseminates the charms of Hyogo Prefecture. was featured.
This is a program project in which Governor Saito of Hyogo Prefecture, who visited the "1st Drone Summit" (venue: Kobe International Exhibition Center) held on September 1 and 2, 2022, interviewed exhibiting companies. As part of the event, the governor interviewed technical personnel at our booth.
When our engineers explained that the weight of the "XU-S" is 8 kg, Governor Saito actually lifted the aircraft to confirm its lightness, and when asked about the use of the aircraft under development, he answered, The program aired an explanation of how the aircraft is currently envisioned to be used, such as "various types of observations that take advantage of long-distance flights" and "assuming a relay function in the sky in emergencies where ground communications infrastructure is not available."
In addition to the booth coverage, as part of the summit's program, a demonstration flight of the unmanned Amphibian "XU-M" that took place off the coast of Port Island in Kobe City on September 2nd was also broadcast.
