[Outline of the President's Message at the 2025 Induction Ceremony]

On behalf of ShinMaywa Group, I would like to sincerely welcome everyone to join our company.

Our company was founded in 1920 as an aircraft manufacturer, but after the war ended, aircraft manufacturing was banned and the company faced a crisis of survival. Undaunted by this, our seniors continued to develop products that contributed to Japan's recovery with passion, a sense of mission, and technological prowess, and as a result, this year marks the 105th anniversary of our founding.
Although each of our five business divisions has different business fields, the spirit of the company's founding, which was to take the wishes of our customers and realize them in our products and services, has been carried on in all of our divisions. I hope that all of you will continue to work hard every day with pride as manufacturing professionals in the future.

Next, I would like to touch upon the philosophy of our group. The "Corporate principles," which is at the top of the philosophy structure, upholds the four principles of "Clean, Sincere, Steady, Enterprising," and these will remain the foundation of our company in the future. The spirit of the "Corporate principles" is also reflected in our "Action guidelines" and "Code of conduct."
In its "Long-term vision," which outlines "what the company aims to be in 2030," the company states that it to respond to glibal society needs, we will be "a true value co-creation company that advances urban, transportation and enviromental infrastructure."
In modern society, new business models are being born one after another due to the evolution of IT and digital technology. For our company, it is essential to strengthen collaboration with other companies and universities. I want everyone to be interested in creating new businesses and to actively take on the challenge of "co-creation."

Finally, in terms of your attitude towards work, it's important to treat your work as something that concerns you personally.
When each individual approaches their work with a sense of autonomy and responsibility, they will understand their own role and take voluntary, proactive action.
I sincerely hope that everyone's working life will be wonderful.
