December 17, 2021

ShinMaywa Industries, Ltd. (Head Office: Takarazuka City, Hyogo Prefecture, President and CEO Isogawa Tatsuyuki) has opened the 1st floor of Flight of Dreams, a commercial complex scheduled to reopen on December 23rd (Thursday) at Chubu Centrair International Airport. We will support the "Flight Park''.

"Flight of Dreams" is a commercial complex that mainly exhibits the first Boeing 787/ZA001 (hereinafter referred to as "787") donated by Boeing to Chubu Centrair International Airport Co., Ltd. The "Flight Park" will be open to the public free of charge in conjunction with the recent renovation, and the concept is that children can learn about aircraft and airports while having fun, and that it is a facility that also contributes to local child-rearing and education.
In addition to exhibiting the actual 787 aircraft, the facility will introduce the features of the aircraft and an overview of the airport facilities through new videos and panels, as well as large-scale playground equipment for children.

Our company is in charge of developing and manufacturing the main wing spar (frame) for the 787, which is the exhibition aircraft, as well as manufacturing and installing all aircraft passenger boarding bridge installed at Chubu Centrair International Airport. As such, we agree with the concept of this facility and have decided to continue to support this renovation.
As part of our sponsorship, in addition to an introductory panel about our company, we will display the actual "main wing spar" (part of it) and an explanatory panel within the facility.

As a manufacturer that develops and manufactures aircraft and aircraft passenger boarding bridge, we will continue to contribute to the development of transportation infrastructure both domestically and internationally.
