Joining Ceremony President's Message

April 1, 2020

ShinMaywa Industries, Ltd. held a joining ceremony at Head Office (Takarazuka City, Hyogo Prefecture) on the morning of April 1, 2020, and President and CEO Tatsuyuki Isogawa gave an instruction. We would like to inform you of the outline below.

2020 Joining Ceremony President's Instruction Summary

On behalf of ShinMaywa Group, I would like to sincerely welcome everyone to join our company.

In February of this year, our company reached a major milestone: its 100th anniversary. Fiscal year 2020 will be the year we start building our next 100 years of history, and together with everyone who joined us today, we will strive to improve our corporate value.

As a prerequisite for this, we will place more emphasis on "sustainability management" than ever before, strive to create new value, add this to our products and services, and provide them to our customers and users in a sustainable manner. We want to be a company that contributes to society.
I would like the new employees who have joined the group from today to make an effort to understand the management policy of our group.

There is a saying that "a company is its people." The growth of each employee makes the company stronger, which in turn leads to "corporate growth." I would like all of you who have joined ShinMaywa Group today to understand that as members of society, "earning the trust of those around you'' and "persisting tenaciously'' will promote your own growth, and that neither of these things can be achieved overnight. Since this is not possible, I would like you to start implementing it from today.

And, most importantly, let them know that safety comes first. Never forget this and act every day.
Our company is a manufacturing company and has many work sites. Please keep in mind that actions that disregard safety not only put you at risk of being affected by an accident, but also lead to serious incidents that may cause inconvenience to your co-workers and even customers. Please never forget the basics of safety: "Always follow established rules.''

Finally, in your work life, I would like you to work with a strong will and aim to be unique in our company, in order to develop strengths that will make you "second to none in this field.'' I sincerely hope that everyone's working life at our company, which starts today, will be a wonderful addition to their lives.
