Thai ShinMaywa Co., Ltd. Donates Cutaway Model of Submersible Pump and Demo Unit to Chiang Mai University
On May 26, 2022, Thai ShinMaywa Co., Ltd., a Group company based in Thailand, donated a cutaway model and demo unit based on locally manufactured submersible pumps to the Department of Environmental Engineering at Chiang Mai University (Chiang Mai).
The donated demo and cutaway model will be used as teaching materials for students researching sustainable products.
The department has long been an authority when it comes to research on biogas technology in the agriculture and livestock fields, which is an important theme in the Thai government’s national BCG (biotechnology, circular, and green) economic policy.
Our submersible pumps have been used for wastewater treatment in Thailand for many years, and they are also used in biogas plants for wastewater treatment, which is a required part of the treatment process.
