First Elevator Type Car Parking System Completed in Thailand
ShinMaywa Industries, Ltd. (Head Office: Takarazuka-shi, Hyogo; President & CEO: Tatsuyuki Isogawa) has handed over our first elevator type car parking system "ELEPARK" in Bangkok, Thailand.
ShinMaywa has completed construction of a mechanical car parking system, and delivered it to the Vanissa Building, a state-of-the-art office building in Bangkok. Our quality and past achievements, which satisfied the owners' stated desire to provide their customers with a high-quality multi-tenant building, were key factors behind adoption of our "ELEPARK".

Conceptual sketch of completed Vanissa Building
General Automatic Cars Parking System Co., Ltd. ("G-PARK"), the local distributor for the Company that obtained the order for this project from a Thai developer, conducted installation work in collaboration with ShinMaywa, which was in charge of design, production, installation management and product quality assurance for the mechanical car parking system.
With the COVID-19 pandemic causing delays in local construction and difficulties to dispatch supervisors from Japan, new approach had to be employed to complete the project, such as remote management of the local construction. After hand over, G-PARK will provide after-sales service with technical support from ShinMaywa. Working closely with the customer, two companies will assist in delivering stable operation of our mechanical car parking system.
Although construction of the Vanissa Building itself is still incomplete, with the opening date still uncertain, all parties involved are looking forward to the time when the facilities will be available to customers.
Going forward, ShinMaywa will continue to leverage its capabilities as a high-level solutions provider, built up over many years, to expand its businesses across Southeast Asian countries through co-creation with G-PARK.
