Environment Policy

Thai ShinMaywa Co., Ltd. aim to follow the environmental management system requirements ISO 14001 : 2004 International Standard within an organization and outside organization.

The organization is consisted of production process, raw materials, products, services and other activies.

As all production activities and services of an organization can cause impacts to the environment, therefore the environmental policies are set to prevent those impacts as following :

Prevent pollution and minimize the environmental aspects.
Efficient consumption of electricity and resource.
Compliance with relevant environmental regulations, laws and other criteria to which the organization subscribes.
Review and continually improve the environmental performance.
Setting and review environmental objective and target in accordance with the regulations.

As the organization realizes the importance of environmental management system.

Therefore, it is our responsibility to preserve the environment and communicate to the public.

Thus, all organizational members must understand the above mentioned policy and implement accordingly, as the slogan :

" Promote and Conserve Environment with Continual Development "

Objectives and Targets

According to all of organization's activities, products and services can have impacts on the environmental, the environmental objectives and targets of organization are set to prevention of those impacts as follows :

1.	To minimize the electricity consumption in order to conserve the electrical energy to prevention the greenhouse effect.	1.	To reduce the amount of electricity consumption by 5.0% from average consumption required in production per month within the end of year 2008. (7.711Kw-hr/KB → 7.325Kw-hr/KB)
2.	To reduce the chemical waste for prevention of the impacts with environment.	2.	To reduce thinner usage by 40.0% of average thinner usage required in production per month within the end of the year 2008 (0.214Lit/KB → 0.128Lit/KB)
3.	To control and reduce heavy oil consumption in order to dispose carbon dioxide in greenhouse effect.	3.	To control and reduce the amount of heavy oil consumption by 5% from average consumption required in production per month within the end of year 2008 (0.269Lit/kg → 0.256Lit/kg)
4.	To reduce the hazardous waste with impacts to the using resource of environment.	4.	To reduce the cloth with oil or chmeical waste, paint waste, coolant and waste oil from 54,190kg/year by 10% to 48,771kg/year within the end of the year 2008
