Refuse Transfer Station System
We delivered the largest Refuse Transfer Station Systems in Shanghai. It contributes to the disposal of garbage from “Expo 2010 Shanghai”.
The Strengths of ShinMaywa's Environmental Systems
We have already delivered our products in China and three countries in Southeast Asia in addition to Japan. The products are highly valued for their engineering capabilities concerning the “transportation of refuse.”
Refuse that is collected by refuse collectors is compressed/volume-reduced for storage to approximately 1/2 the size into a large container by using a compactor. The large container is then transferred to an arm-roll truck, thus realizing hygienic transportation. We also provide ancillary equipment that is environmentally-friendly, centralized monitoring systems and other appliances.

Refuse Storage and Discharger
In July 2009, we received an order for 57 “Dust Screw” units for the City of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and we completed delivery in December 2009. We are now developing business operations to acquire another order from the city. Furthermore, we are preparing to expand sales in adjacent cities and provinces based on our past achievements.

People can put out their garbage at any time irrespective of the garbage collection day or time zone.Refuse put in the reverse feeding apparatus or the dust chute is compressed/volume-reduced by screws provided in the main system unit for storage. The air-tight structure nearly eliminates odors and transshipment to a refuse collector can be done with a single touch of a button, which ensures simple and hygienic operations. The low-noise design is one of the features of the system.

The system is playing an active role as a system that compresses/volume-reduces refuse generated in high-rise apartments and commercial facilities, etc., down to approximately 1/3 in size and hygienically loads it directly into a refuse collector.
“TECHNOCUUM SYSTEM” Refuse Collecting and Transporting System
We are now installing the machines in high-class, non-governmental condominiums in Singapore. We have already installed our systems at eight project sites in the country and, backed by such acclaimed past achievements, we are in the course of business negotiations for other projects.

Since the system is an air-tight closed system that keeps trash out of sight, odors can be nearly eliminated and thus the health and the beauty of the city can be protected.

Future Developments
We are now working hard on sales activities to open up new markets, targeting other countries in Asia and the Middle East, in addition to existing products and areas in which we have already delivered our products.
